What are the rules for uploading new work and getting it approved?

Following these guidelines when uploading work will help us approve your submission faster and ensure your work is easier to find and correctly categorized.

  1. Double check to make sure the editorial/cover/ad you are adding does not already exist in the database – maybe you or your artist/model you represent is not credited on it. If you upload a duplicate entry, the work will appear multiple times on everyone who is credited’s page. Use the search bar to navigate to the client or photographer’s page to see if it already is published. Our staff will suspend your uploading privileges if multiple duplicates are added by your account.

  2. Only credit models/artists that are in our database. If the photographer is not in our database, it is important to add their name to the TITLE of the database entry. (ie: “Title by Photographer”)

  3. Magazine covers and editorials should be added to the database as separate entries and categorized as such. Covers that are a part of a multi-cover issue should be uploaded to a single database entry. See this entry as an example.

  4. When adding a lookbook, please date the work based on the ‘Month, Year’ the images were published, not the season of the clothes. Include the season in the title.
